This blog is basically an attempt to find the most pertinent, interesting, and (hopefully) entertaining stories from the separate worlds of music and politics. Because they are, indeed, two separate worlds.

Now make no mistake, I will not write about “music AND politics”. They are rarely combined into an entity worthy of note (for instance “American Idiot”). I hope to make this blog into two separate branches. One for music, one for politics. In one post, my top five songs with cowbells… in another post, the election of the incumbent candidate of Equatorial Guinea and what it means for the region. Random, chaotic, upsetting, clever… maybe I’ll hit all those gems of what a blog should be… maybe not. I’m not too worried.
